The Life of A Blogger

Some posters on my wall

I’m a dedicated blogger, that I’m proud to say
My life has changed a lot, doing this day after day;
And it’s the days when I don’t blog, that really get me down
I feel like I’m losing out, going to lose it and never be found;
When the wireless is out, or we’re on vacation
During a long ride home, my nerves are jumping in frustration;
And when I post something, I feel relieved
my brain relaxes, it’s time to breath;
The next step is seeing just how my submission did
and with that it’s either hit or miss, saving or getting rid

I hate it when I’m stuck in a stupid blogging muck
and just can’t seem to spark any beneficial comment mark
Days go by when the followers just won’t come
I start getting anxious, end up doing something dumb

My number one fear
it’s going to crash down
That my end day is coming
I’m hitting my ceiling
getting too far from the ground
I must not let my impulses get too high
I must stay within my boundaries
and not be that guy

I blog because I think
I think because I’m smart
I’m smart because I observe
And to me it’s all art

Here’s a handy flowchart showing how blogging has evolved over the years:
