Rainbow Celebration

The fight is over
The time has come
The finish line has been crossed
The rainbow warriors have won

For traditions have been broken
The past is left behind
Love is limitless
You can marry well, be fine

Go out and enjoy the air
And dance all day in the streets
For the top has been popped
And it’s a stream that’s moving free
Going to engulf the world
Never going to stop until they’re all happy and free

And you might as well drink some milk,
In honor of the man
Who proved that there’s nothing you can’t do
If you believe that you can

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Celebrate Good Times.”

You receive some wonderful, improbable, hoped-for good news. How do you celebrate?

Weekly Photo: Roy G. Biv

Roy G. Biv and his seven women,
All were eccentric,
Decisions, decisions

His spicy Red, always the romantic,
Unique Orange, a bit standoffish
Optimistic Yellow, longed for the future,
Natural Green, soil lover for the rooster
Moody Blue, chronic depressant,
Indigo and Violet, quite inseparate

These were his wives he used to make his name,
And now is the most famous in the grand color scheme game
