Piano Fingers

These magic fingers

The ones of the pianist

Delicately dance across the keys

That sweet sound telling me what I need to hear

The clairvoyant voice in my ear

I have been reminded that the music

Is the one thing the world can’t destroy

It is the threads that mend even the most broken hearts together

And without the music I am lost without a cause

Just a leaf in the breeze, watching the days pass by
